Cleo Paskal about the attitude towards climate change in Central Asia

The governments and civil society organisations of Central Asia have not been encouraging climate change discussions ahead of the Copenhagen summit in December. Most ordinary people don’t take climate change seriously and consider it to be a fashionable new “toy” which western countries want to play with. Cleo Paskal, Associate Fellow for the Energy, Environment and Development Programme at Chatham House, London, told me why climate change is not high on the agenda of Central Asian countries.

    Cleo Paskal rocks 😉 She is one of those who’ll never tired or bored by the awful and unfair reality in some parts of the world…and hopefully! because she is proficient and we really need to read and listen to her!
